Our kitchen is put together with love and passion for exquisite fare and flavours. You won't find blah blah food here. We enjoy festive cooking for warm, enthusiastic people. Join us in the celebration, feel the "vibe" from the kitchen. Don't forget the Grape Escape (won a Diners International Platinum 2008,2009) where you choose your own sassy wine/s. Remember to return the cork back into the Grape Escape - and then make a wish. Any wish will do.

The breakfast...

We serve a small cold buffet breakfast with the following: 3 cereals, dried fruit compote, yoghurt, a variety of local cheeses and preserves, toast, muffins, juices, coffee and tea. Then, you order your hot plate with the following on: pork sausage, bacon, grilled tomato, fried mushrooms and eggs to order as you like them. Mmmm... You may also ask the chef slap "the works" in an omelet - how's that!



For during the day...

Slow- smoked chicken breast, grilled with cilantro bacon, topped with fennel mayo and of course our special tomato, avo and banana salsa

  The Mountain Muffuletta

Pronounced "moo-foo-LET-ta", this dome-shaped sesame bread can be served three ways: (all served with Signor Salvatore's famous olive salad)

  1. With flash fried brinjals, peppers, spinach, tomato pesto and grilled parmesan
  2. Filled with grilled bacon, creamy mushrooms and mozzarella
  3. Filled with peppered smoked salmon, peppadew mayo and lemon cream cheese

  The po-boy

Also called poor boy, is a traditional sub sandwich from Louisiana. You can have it Dressed (with lettuce, tomato, cucumber etc) or with nuttin' on it. Speak up and choose one of the following:

  1. With crumbed hake, cottage mayo and Creole fries
  2. With chicken breast, cheese and Mardi Grass fries
  3. With a Grandma frikkadel, bacon, cheese and shut-me-up fries

  1. Sweettet tato salad with a hotted sauce, garlic roasted sweet potatoes on greens with coconut banana, lemon preserve and basil tomatillo
  2. Nana n' Cado salad... lemon and olive oil marinated smoked trout on greens with avocado, basil mayo and banana salsa
  3. Fried green tomatoes (with shrimp roulade)... yes, it's a movie and this is the inspiration from it. Shrimp over piping hot, green fried tomatoes - cool salad, tangy sauce
  • Creole fries - with spicy tomato
  • Mardi Grass fires - garlic flavoured
  • Shut-me-up fries - holy trinity spice: pepper, onion and celery
